First thing I did this morning when I woke up was sign up for the Jemez Mountain 50K. The three races held in late May in Los Alamos, NM have been on my radar for some time now so it feels great to finally get my name on the entrant list.
I've visited Taos, Santa Fe and the surrounding Rio Grande Valley numerous times over the years and it's one of my favorite places around. Michele is also looking forward to spending a day and night in Santa Fe after the race. Crazy to think race day is 6 months away.
So for now I have one race officially on my list for 2010. Goal is to run the Fruita 25M in April and San Juan Solstice 50M in June. We'll see how the body and mind feel after that. Could The Bear 100 or Leadville 100 follow?
